Applying engineering principles and drafting tools, such as AutoCAD, to develop, scan and archive digital blueprints and schematics drawings for architectural glass wall window and metal systems. Develop project proposals and determining project specifications. Prepare written estimates for clients based on labor, materials, equipment and other expenses. Prepare cut lists for fabrication and establish project schedules. Coordinate all phases of the construction projects with general contractors. Troubleshoot CNC machine and software. Cost estimate and budget analysis of projects to ensure productivity.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering required. 10 months of experience as engineer in developing project proposals, determining project specifications, and using AutoCad to verifying mathematical calculations required.
